What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will utilise your unique problem-solving skills and your excellent engineering qualities to oversee and manage the complete design of the electric motor from concept to production whilst making sure the quality is to the highest standard in each and every aspect of design.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this: 

  • Work to develop a proper validation process that supports and documents data-based decisions 
  • Collaborate with suppliers to include manufacturing at scale all along in the development process 
  • Take part in the development of the company’s test benches and procedures  
  • Supporting functional safety activities at propulsion system level 
  • Help define the working methodology for the fast-growing eDrive team 


A bit about you 
Ideally, you’ll be based in Barcelona, Spain.

You’ll have at least 4 years of experience developing Mechanical aspects of electric motors and powertrain systems.

A few other key skills our client is looking for: 

  • Mechatronics/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • An excellent understanding of first-principles physics
  • Proven ability to conduct high-quality research
  • Confident leading and owning CAD and manufacturing drawings
  • Confident in evaluating powertrain attributes
  • Experience with 3D modelling packages and FAE modelling tools
