Do you have a knack for developing new business opportunities in fast-moving industries? Our client is on the hunt for a new Business Development Manager to join their ambitious team as they look to expand their software portfolio across the region.

What you’ll be doing 
In this role, you will be pursuing new leads and driving sales activity by creating new relationships and building existing ones, all to achieve ambitious targets to aid in business growth.

Your day to day might look a little like this:
•    Developing and implementing strategic account plans to proactively pursue new business opportunities
•    Recommending technical solutions to solve customer problems, and selling them the aligning software from our client’s portfolio
•    Negotiating prices with principles and customers within the established pricing guidelines
•    Assessing and ensuring customer satisfaction to sustain strong and profitable relationships

A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the North West and have the ability to travel across the region to customer locations.

You’ll have at least 5 years of relevant experience for this role as well as a relevant Bachelor’s degree.

A few other key skills we are looking for:
•    Ability to make good decisions based upon analysis, experience and greater judgement
•    Excellent negotiation skills with both internal and external groups, able to gain the trust of other parties quickly in tough scenarios
•    Understanding of the technology sales process, including lead generation and customer relationship management
•    Strong presentation skills in a variety of formal settings, such as one-to-one or larger groups
