Are you a strong leader that isn’t afraid to make tough calls? Want to work for a motorsports company that’s genuinely pushing the boundaries of what’s possible? We have a great opportunity to join our client as a Race Strategy Leader, focusing on the strategic decisions to give them an edge over the competition on race day.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
If you think of the word ‘innovation’ you’re probably imagining cutting-edge tech, and things that are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Well, that’s exactly what our motorsports client is doing.

With sustainability at their core, they’re building tech that’s helping us head to a future of cleaner propulsion, autonomous mobility, and more connected vehicles. Oh, and they’re also competing in the big leagues when it comes to motorsports too. They’ve got a bold plan for the next few years to really accelerate what they’re capable of. Cool, right?

As for working for them, they apply the same level of care to their people as they do their work. From the big stuff, like funded training, healthcare coverage, and wellbeing support, to having a culture that’s all about championing each and every employee, they’re a great place to work.

What will your day to day look like?
This role puts you at the heart of the strategic decisions to prioritise race day performance. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

•    Running simulation and modelling sessions pre-race to predict performance
•    Analysing data from practice sessions and previous races to aid future decision-making
•    Collaborating with your team and with members from other teams in the business to maximise performance potential
•    Being present on race day to make split-second decisions and dynamically adjust strategy mid-race
•    Preparing necessary backup strategies for unexpected developments

This role will suit you if you…
•    Have a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any other relevant discipline
•    Have 5+ years’ experience of high-level Motorsport Race Strategy
•    Can evidence the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, trackside scenarios
•    Carry a strong background in high-level data analysis and statistical methodologies
•    Have excellent communication skills, being able to motivate your team even in difficult periods
•    Are comfortable being in a position to make the big calls at a moment's notice
