What will your day to day look like?
You’ll be the go-to expert for all things Ultrasound across a range of sites, making sure systems are running smoothly and safely. You’ll take ownership of preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs, while also supporting junior engineers and championing best practices. A typical day might involve:
- Carrying out routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Building strong relationships with customers by keeping communication clear, friendly, and professional
- Completing compliance paperwork and risk assessments in line with industry standards
- Collaborating with internal teams to support wider projects and contracts
- Sharing feedback and insights to help drive continuous improvement
You’ll also have access to ongoing training and career development - so whether you want to specialise further or move into leadership, there’s a path for you.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have at least 5 years’ experience working on Ultrasound imaging systems in the field or hospital setting
- Know your way around multiple OEMs (Canon, GE, Siemens, Philips, Fujifilm)
- Hold a qualification in Electronic, Biomedical or Medical Engineering (HNC/HND or higher)
- Are a confident fault-finder with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Enjoy mentoring and sharing knowledge with others
- Have a full UK driving licence and are able to commute to the Midlands very frequently
