Ultrasound Applications Specialist - North East

As an Ultrasound Applications Specialist, you’ll help customers get the best from their imaging technology, delivering training, answering clinical questions, and supporting users as they build confidence with the systems. You’ll stay close to the clinical world while developing new skills in customer engagement and medical technology.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll provide clinical and technical expertise across an ultrasound portfolio, helping healthcare professionals get the most from their equipment. Working from home with regular travel across your territory, you’ll support product demonstrations, deliver customer training and build lasting relationships with clinical teams.

You will also be:

• Demonstrating ultrasound equipment at hospitals, customer sites, conferences and exhibitions.
• Supporting sales colleagues with specialist clinical knowledge and tailored product demonstrations.
• Planning and delivering post-sales training to help customers use their equipment confidently.
• Providing ongoing applications support and responding to customer questions and feedback.
• Supporting clinical courses and educational events delivered by key accounts.
• Sharing insights on equipment performance, customer needs and competitor activity with internal teams.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and completing reports following customer training visits.
• Keeping your clinical and product knowledge current through ongoing training and development.

This role will suit you if you…

• Have experience working as a sonographer and are educated to degree level.
• Are interested in applying your clinical expertise within a customer-facing commercial environment.
• Enjoy explaining technical information and helping others develop their confidence with ultrasound equipment.
• Have strong customer service skills and can build relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Are proactive, organised and comfortable managing your workload independently.
• Learn quickly and are committed to developing your clinical and technical knowledge.
• Communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
• Hold a valid driving licence and are willing to travel frequently across your allocated territory.
