What will your day to day look like?
This role sits in the motorsports division and is all about tyre performance. With grand plans for the next few seasons, they’re looking for someone who can come in and help write the next chapter by helping them achieve peak performance. Everything you do has one goal, improvement.
So how does that play out day-to-day? Here’s a selection of the things you’ll be doing:
- Leading and developing a high-performing tyre engineering group
- Driving tyre development strategy
- Collaborating with Vehicle, Race, and Performance Engineers to optimise tyre performance and durability
- Using data analysis and simulation to inform tyre design and track performance
- Coordinating testing programmes, including on-track evaluations and lab work
- Monitoring key performance indicators to deliver continuous improvement
- Championing a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within your tea
This role will suit you if you...
- Have a degree in Mechanical or Motorsport Engineering
- Have at least 6 years of experience in tyre development
- Have previous experience leading and inspiring a technical team
- Understand the interaction between tyres, vehicle dynamics, and performance optimisation
- Are comfortable using simulation, data analysis, and testing tools relevant to tyre engineering
- Thrive in a high-pressure, results-driven environment
- Have a passion for pushing boundaries and achieving peak performance
