Our client is seeking a driven Territory Manager to join their close-knit team and represent a surgical range of devices. This is an excellent opportunity to represent a medical device organisation with a niche focus and excel in your career. 

The company 

Our client is a well-respected, dynamic medical device organisation who specialises in surgical energy devices. Its mission is to provide innovative energy products that are used in surgical procedures around the world. They are supported by a strong research and development arm, joining forces with leading universities and hospitals in product development processes. 

The role 

Within this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing territory sales and accounts with an element of seeking new business. You will have the opportunity to establish relationships within the NHS and private sector hospitals, whilst representing the brand within exhibitions and training events where required. 

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Establishing and developing relationships with key clinical customers 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Building specialised knowledge of the product portfolio and latest clinical developments 

  • Covering surgical cases to provide the highest degree of value to surgeons and patients 

  • Managing resources within the sales area and hitting sales targets 

  • Ensuring clinical operations are maximised 

  • Producing regular reports and forecasts outlining both current and proposed activities 

The requirements 

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience of in surgical sales and be comfortable working within an operating room environment. Other requirements include: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably within a life science or Nursing discipline 

  • A commercially driven attitude with the ability to establish strong relationships 

  • Experience in selling theatre-based products to the NHS 

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills 

  • Proficient computer literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite) 

  • Willing to work flexible hours and travel across the territory 

  • Self-starter who is highly motivated and results-orientated
