What will your day to day look like?
You’ll get plenty of face-to-face time with clinicians and surgeons in this role, as you’re tasked with building strong relationships with KOLs in your region. You’ll be a product expert (after 7 weeks of training) who passes on your knowledge to customers so they can get the best out of the products they’re buying. An average week might include:
- Identifying key stakeholders
- Creating business plans and approach strategies
- Conducting product demos with customers
- Attending orientation, education, and scrub sessions
- Supporting tendering and quotation processes
- Attending conferences and events
You’ll be working closely with your Regional Sales Manager in this role to achieve your ultimate goal – overachieving on targets and helping your region to grow.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have experience in medical device sales (or relevant consultative sales)
- Have a degree in a medical related field
- Are comfortable in theatres and operating rooms ideally
- Know how to build long-lasting commercial relationships
- Can speak the language of clinicians and surgeons
- Are able to negotiate confidently
This role involves travel across the Devon/Cornwall region, so you’ll also need a driving license and to be comfortable travelling to customer sites on a regular basis.
