Are you an experienced surgical sales professional who knows their way around theatre-based environments and loves building strong customer relationships? Keen to join a company that truly values its people and lets you take ownership of your territory? If so, our client is looking for a Key Account Manager in Scotland to take their surgical solutions to the next level, and you could be the perfect fit!

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Meaningful work and flexibility go hand-in-hand when working with this healthcare company. With a commercial presence in over 80 countries, as well as over 200 years of history in the industry, this is a leading name within essential surgical solutions.

Serving surgeons and hospitals across the globe means that top-quality service isn't considered a nice-to-have here; it needs to be a guarantee. Integrity, accountability, and customer-centricity are just a few of the strong values their global team strives towards daily. And as a reward for joining their efforts, there is a range of employee benefits on offer, including flexible working patterns and a generous pension scheme.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll be owning the territory across Scotland, building strong relationships with surgical teams and key stakeholders, and driving usage of advanced surgical technologies in the OR.

You can expect a typical day to involve:
  • Developing strong relationships with surgeons and KOLs
  • Supporting product usage in the OR
  • Delivering product demos and training for clinical teams
  • Working closely with stakeholders, ensuring the continuous availability of products
  • Identifying new business opportunities, tailoring your approach based on customer feedback
  • Managing existing accounts and looking for ways to grow them further
  • Maintaining high-level product, competitor, and market knowledge
  • Keeping the CRM up to date
  • Staying on top of your numbers with regular pipeline and activity reporting
  • Traveling across the territory (50-80%), with occasional overnight stays

This role will suit you if you…
  • Have 3-5 years of sales experience in surgical or theatre-based environments
  • Have worked within NHS Trusts and/or private hospitals
  • Know your way around the NHS procurement and sales cycle
  • Ideally have experience in haemostasis, biosurgery, or similar tech
  • Have strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Are a people person who easily builds customer relationships
  • Know your way around Microsoft Office and CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Are based in Scotland and happy to travel regularly
