What will your day to day look like?
You’ll take the lead on all things service, from managing daily operations, to shaping long-term processes and strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical knowledge, particularly in x-ray systems, will be highly valued. A typical day might involve:

Overseeing and developing multi-vendor service operations

Designing and implementing ISO13485:2016-compliant service processes

Supporting and mentoring the field engineering team (x-ray and ultrasound)

Carrying out field service work when needed (leading by example!)

Fostering a culture of team loyalty and pride

Making sure all service is properly customer-centric

Figuring out ways to make service delivery even better

Focusing on streamlining operations

Looking after the service team’s P&L and budgeting
-
Contributing to the wider business strategy
This role will suit you if you…
- Have hands-on experience with x-ray repair and maintenance
- Are HNC qualified
- Have led a service engineering team, ideally in a medical imaging or similar field
- Know your way around ISO13485:2016 or other regulated service environments
- Enjoy being both strategic and operational
- Are commercially savvy and confident managing budgets and P&L
- Can motivate and develop others
- Are proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Have a full UK driving licence and are able to commute to the Midlands for the initial period
