About the Company

Our client is a global provider of Smart Factory and performance management software used by manufacturers to improve efficiency, increase OEE, and drive continuous operational improvement. Their cloud-based platform is deployed across complex industrial environments and supports operations leaders seeking real-time insights, scalable analytics, and measurable digital transformation outcomes. Continued growth across North America and internationally has created a requirement for an experienced Software Implementation Consultant to join their Professional Services organisation.

The Opportunity

You will lead the end-to-end implementation of cloud-based manufacturing software for customers, managing deployments from initial discovery through to configuration, onboarding, training, and post-go-live advisory work. The role requires strong communication, structured project delivery, and the ability to work closely with sales, support, and product teams to ensure customers adopt solutions that are configured for their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle implementation projects including brief, gap analysis, deployment, configuration, training, and on-site validation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and progress updates using internal electronic tools.
  • Deliver post-deployment advisory services such as Health Checks, coaching, and optimisation engagements to drive adoption and value realisation.
  • Develop and update best-practice materials, deployment guides, and training content.
  • Support pre-sales discovery sessions and contribute to proposals, project plans, quotes, and scopes.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer support, and product teams to resolve issues and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide accurate inputs for billing and utilisation reporting within Professional Services.
  • Occasionally coach and support junior team members during project delivery.

About You

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in software implementation, system engineering, or solutions engineering.
  • Proven ability to deliver customer-facing technical projects within a professional services or implementation setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams.
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments or exposure to plant-floor operations.
  • Experience working directly with customers in post-sales or support functions.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance systems or connected factory technologies.
  • Experience with ControlLogix PLCs and OPC server software.
  • Familiarity with deployments in multi-site or enterprise manufacturing environments.

Why Apply

This opportunity offers the chance to play a central role in delivering Smart Factory transformation for industrial customers. You will be part of a growing global operation, contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes, and directly influence the success of digital manufacturing programmes.
