What will your day to day look like?

This role sits in the motorsports division and is all about performance. With grand plans for the next few seasons, they’re looking for someone who can come in and help write the next chapter by helping them achieve peak performance. Everything you do has one goal, improvement. 

So how does that play out day-to-day? Here’s a selection of the things you’ll be doing:
 
  • Optimising comms between the remote team and the team at the track
  • Managing and delivering on technical reports
  • Collaborating with Race Engineers and Drivers 
  • Working on car systems set up and vehicle dynamics
  • Identifying and monitoring key performance indicators
  • Suggesting the strategy for car set-up and tyres
  • Using simulation and data analysis to set the performance roadmap
  • Developing and running performance software tools
  • Validating simulation against track and test data
  • Getting the team working together behind a common goal – elite performance


This role will suit you if you...
 
  • Have a degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or similar)
  • Have worked in car performance roles for at least 6 years
  • Understand electrification and how it applies to motorsports
  • Have experience with both analysis and development
  • Know a thing or two about vehicle dynamics and how it works with the whole car
  • Understand lap time simulation tools and simulator environments
  • Are able to use tools like Wintax and MATLAB
  • Can support and develop high performing teams
  • Have exceptionally high standards
