What will your day to day look like?
You’ll be the driving force behind our client’s next-gen vascular products. It’s a real blend of creative design, getting into the nitty gritty of engineering, and thinking commercially and strategically. Here’s just some of what you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the technical lead for new devices
- Overseeing the full product design process from concept to launch
- Developing CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
- Making sure products are technically sound, but also aligned to the brand
- Championing usability in design, making them intuitive for clinicians
- Supporting products through the NPD process to meet milestones
- Producing and reporting on detailed project plans and timescales
- Managing project budgets and resource allocation
- Making sure all development adheres to ISO regulations
- Managing and compiling all technical documentation
- Leading on the filing of IP

This role will suit you if you…
- Are proficient in 3D CAD and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Experience working in a QMS environment
- Understand Design History Files
- Know how to manage an R&D budget
- Have previously successful handled IP filings
- Can translate complex engineering data into clear reporting
