Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their team in the North West to grow sales of their portfolio in the region.

What you’ll be doing 

Growth is at the heart of this role. From sales planning to relationship building to coordinating your team, everything you do will be focused on achieving and exceeding your revenue targets to grow portfolio sales in your region.

Your day to day might look a little like this:
 

  • Developing a sales plan and establishing targets for your region
  • Supporting the sales team with account management
  • Coordinating a clinical team to align team with sales strategy
  • Working with other internal teams on training initiatives
  • Attending surgeries to educate surgeons on the product portfolio
  • Assessing the competitive position of the portfolio
  • Identifying new business opportunities


This role exists because the previous incumbent has been promoted, so it’s a great opportunity to join a team that’ll really support you to grow in your career.


A bit about you

The main thing our client is after is someone who has a strong track record in medical sales, ideally with at least five years’ experience and in orthopaedics. They’re also looking for someone who:
 

  • Knows how to create and implement strategic plans
  • Is comfortable in clinical theatre/OR settings
  • Has experience leading and coaching a team
  • Understands medical customers and their needs
  • Loves pursuing new business opportunities
  • Is great at relationship building
  • Is happy to travel across the North West region (a driving license is a must!)
