What will your day to day look like?

This role is all about getting stuck into the detail, as you’ll be tasked with overseeing the design and production of HVAC&R equipment. An average week might include:   
 
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and schematics
  • Making sure technical data is properly documented
  • Monitoring and reporting on project status and developments
  • Assisting designers in developing the structural design of products
  • Using drafting or CAD tools to aid structural design
  • Ensuring conformance with engineering design and performance specs
  • Evaluating the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs
  • Acting as a customer feedback loop 
  • Estimating project costs and submitting bids



This role will suit you if you…
 
  • Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Have a few years’ experience in an aligned role
  • Understand manufacturing methods used in HVAC&R
  • Can think critically and make good judgement calls
  • Are happy handling multiple projects at the same time
