Due to increasing demand, our client is seeking an experienced individual to take on this role as Program Manager to help sustain and grow a strong strategic position in the German Utilities market.
The company
Our client is a global digital engineering and technology company devoted to solving complex engineering challenges across a suite of industries, from energy and mining to aerospace and defence. Their Utilities division works with some of the world’s largest Utilities companies, providing them with solutions in GIS, digital solutions and microgrids.
The role
You will oversee the development of different software platforms the company manufactures - making sure they are geared towards the client’s needs.
Other responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide the required confidence to customers about the company’s technical capabilities
- Work with stakeholders to draw up proposals and winning bids
- Oversee the successful execution of the programs
- Enhance the system integration practices, framework, methodologies and reusable components for robust implementations
- Network with OEMS (Esri & GE) and be the brand ambassador for the company in the various technology forums
The requirements
Experience in delivering/deploying GIS solutions to utilities in Germany is a must, as well as...
- Good knowledge of GIS
- Highly collaborative team player who can work towards the success of the program
- Strong communication skills in both German and English
- Specific expertise and understanding of Esri UN and GE Smallworld
- Able to travel within Europe
