You come from the clinical side of ophthalmology. You want to make an impact on patients on a bigger scale. You enjoy working with technical products, understanding clinical needs, and turning that insight into something that helps patients around the world.

What you’re looking for now is a role with more autonomy, where your ideas shape how products go to market.

As Product Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of the business, working cross-functionally to translate real clinical insight into commercially strong products. This role exists because the business is growing, giving you the chance to step into a role with influence, responsibility, and a clear path for development.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

This market-leading ophthalmic company has employees singing their praises - they are continually described as an open and caring culture that values the welfare of both employees and customers that use their premium technical lenses. They're looking for enthusiastic people with a can-do attitude, and in return they'll offer you a great place to grow your career.

They’re all about giving their people the opportunity to grow. And they’re focused on developing, promoting and retaining their people. How that manifests? Expect an open feedback culture, plenty of opportunities to advance your career, and professional development to support your future goals.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will lead the ophthalmic lens product portfolio and provide support for both global and local product launches. A typical day may include:

  • Setting up product launch plans for new products

  • Developing pricing proposals for new products

  • Managing the lifecycle of all products in the portfolio

  • Liaising with internal teams to support the operations of a new product launch

  • Developing and creating sales aids for the portfolio

  • Managing digital learning platforms for products

  • Identifying post-launch feedback on initial sales versus sales targets

  • Delivering structured training programmes internally

  • Providing product forecasts

  • Researching and analysing competitors in the industry

This role will suit you if you…

  • Are an experienced, qualified Dispensing Optician

  • Can lead cross-functional teams

  • Have project management experience

  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Love solving problems and getting deep into analytics
