Product & Application Trainer - Endoscopy
UK South
You’re someone who loves getting really technical. Loves understanding the products you’re working with inside out. And loves passing that knowledge onto people so they get the best out of them.
You’re looking for a role where you can combine your clinical background and know-how with your passion for training. You want to work somewhere with a great reputation for quality products, that can also offer you the career growth you’re looking for and the opportunity to really make a role your own.
Well, look no further than this Product Application Trainer role.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
This company is all about endoscopy. For decades they’ve been bringing the latest tech to the market, with the ultimate goal of supporting surgical procedures across the worlds – in both human and veterinary medicine. They’re also hot on making sure their customer service is top notch, working hard to keep their customers happy and their products running smoothly for years.
What’s it like working there? Well, they offer a whole host of benefits. Think access to BUPA healthcare schemes, generous annual leave, mental wellbeing support through an EAP scheme, a company car, the option to buy extra holiday, discounts on your high street shopping, and more.
What will your day to day look like?
You will provide training to people on the endoscopy products they’ll be using. Expect lots of face-to-face time with nursing staff, doctors, and other clinicians as you show them how to get the best out of their kit – from using it, to cleaning it, to storing it. An average week might include:
- Running post-installation training with customers
- Making sure the product users are thoroughly trained
- Providing refresher training to customers when required
- Responding to customer queries about product usage
- Planning and developing product training programmes
- Developing teaching aids
- Keeping track of training via official documentation
Success in this role looks like a customer base that’s fully clued up in how to best use their endoscopy portfolio, keeping accounts happy and returning.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have a clinical background as a nurse, scrub, ODP or similar
- Are comfortable in operating rooms and theatres
- Love being customer facing
- Understand clinical end-users and their needs
- Know how to deliver effective training
- Can translate complex technical features into easy-to-digest training
- Are happy to travel to client sites regularly
