As a NAP Process Engineer, you’ll support the development and improvement of processes across engineered heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. You’ll work with different teams, interpret technical information, solve problems, and help turn engineering requirements into practical, repeatable ways of working.
This could suit someone early in their engineering career who is motivated, confident communicating with others, and keen to keep learning. HVACR experience would be useful, but it isn’t essential, so there’s plenty of scope to build specialist knowledge while taking on more responsibility over time.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll support production line improvement across a manufacturing environment, helping to improve efficiency, quality, safety and day-to-day processes.
- Assist with the design, setup and development of new production lines
- Suggest improvements to jigs, tooling, equipment and production processes
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce cost and increase efficiency
- Use root-cause analysis to investigate production or product issues
- Apply continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methods
- Provide technical support across manufacturing, design and process-related challenges
- Review product designs for manufacturability and completeness
- Support ergonomic improvements and safer ways of working
- Train production teams on new or existing equipment and processes
- Maintain accurate documentation around process changes and updates
- Coordinate between production groups to improve workflow and communication
- Keep developing your knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and HVACR processes
You’ll play an important role in improving how production lines run, supporting manufacturing teams and helping create better, more efficient processes.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
- Are a recent graduate or have up to 5 years’ engineering experience
- Are interested in manufacturing, production processes and continuous improvement
- Have good engineering judgement and enjoy solving practical problems
- Can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Communicate clearly with production, engineering and wider internal teams
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Have strong interpersonal skills and can guide or influence others
- Are detail-oriented and understand the importance of accurate documentation
- Work well with different departments and bring a cooperative approach
- Are motivated, proactive and keen to keep developing your engineering skills
Experience in HVACR, fabrication, tooling, lean manufacturing or process improvement would be useful, but is not essential.
