Are you an experienced motorsport procurement professional who knows your way around Bills of Materials and supplier negotiations? Looking to join a team where your knowledge of race car components and the US motorsport supply landscape will actually make a difference? Our client is looking for a hands-on Project Buyer to support motorsport constructor projects from sourcing to delivery, ensuring cost, quality, and timelines all hit the mark.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll be at the heart of the procurement function, working closely with engineering and project teams to source, negotiate, and secure the best components for world-class motorsport builds.
You can expect a typical day to involve:
- Purchasing goods, materials, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Managing purchase orders and schedules based on project demand
- Maintaining and updating project BOMs, including change management
- Interfacing with suppliers and internal departments to keep everything moving smoothly
- Analysing costs and identifying areas for savings and process improvement
- Building strong supplier relationships, ensuring alignment on quality and delivery
This role will suit you if you…
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in motorsport procurement
- Know your way around a race car and the components that go into one
- Have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes for motorsport parts
- Are familiar with US-based motorsport suppliers
- Can manage supplier relationships and negotiate with confidence
- Have strong Excel skills and are comfortable with ERP/CRM tools
- Are open to some travel (around 15%) to suppliers and partner sites
