In motorsport, everyone wants to influence performance. Very few roles genuinely let you do it.

This one does. Every simulation, setup decision, track test, and performance call has a direct impact on where the car finishes on race day. You'll lead a small team, work closely with senior engineering groups, and have a real say in the decisions that can turn a good weekend into a great one.

The team has momentum behind it. Recent seasons have proven what they're capable of, but nobody here is interested in standing still. The focus is firmly on the next step, challenging for race wins, championships, and pushing performance standards even higher.

If you've already built leadership experience in Formula E or another high-level racing series, you'll know how rewarding it is when your work translates into lap time. This role offers more of that. More influence. More responsibility. More opportunity to shape performance rather than simply report on it. And for someone driven by competition, that's hard to ignore.

What will your day to day look like?
This role is fully focused on leading the Performance Engineering group. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the team. Your average day could include:
•    Defining and maintaining the development roadmap in alignment with the Head of Performance and Simulation
•    Maintaining performance metrics and KPIs to drive analysis across development and test activities
•    Identifying performance limitations, and leading in corrective actions in the group
•    Producing post-session reports with clear conclusions and recommendations of follow-up actions
•    Liasing between the Race Team and the Development Performance Engineers

This role will suit you if you…
•    Havea Bachelor’s or Master’s in Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
•    Can showcase proven leadership capabilities in key performance areas, such as Track Test and DIL activities
•    Have 5+ years of experience in vehicle performance engineering within a high performance automotive or motorsport environment
•    Have excellent communication skills, being able to confidently communicate with senior members of an organisation
•    Can demonstrate considerable contributions to team performance development
