You know theatres. You know clinics. And you know how to navigate both the NHS and private sector without missing a beat. You’re confident with senior clinicians and procurement, and you’ve built a track record of growing accounts the right way.

Now you want ownership. Real access to decision-makers. Strategic control over key accounts. Targets that challenge you but feel grounded in reality. You’re motivated by influence, not just activity.

This Key Account Manager role gives you that scope. You’ll take charge of high-value accounts within a global medical device business, driving growth across NHS and private settings. It’s built for someone who wants visibility, credibility, and the chance to shape results, not just chase them.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

Our client is all about saving clinical staff time, whilst simultaneously improving patient outcomes. They’ve got a wide range of products – from surgical sealants to ophthalmic instruments – that are designed from years of listening to surgeons and what they really need.

This theme of listening continues into how they treat their people, too. By joining them you join a culture that’s built on celebrating every single person for what they bring to the table. They’re all about supporting everyone to contribute in a way that’s authentic to them and has a real impact, as well as helping people grow in their careers. And now’s a great time to join them as they continue to grow!

Plus, they’re big on giving back through their commitment to supporting their community. Think volunteering and celebration days, charity fundraising, and more.

What will your day to day look like?

You’ll be responsible for growing and managing the surgical product sales by building key relationships with KOL and customers. An average day may look like;

  • Supporting surgeons on the usage of products and technology in the OR

  • Providing demonstrations of the products in the OR

  • Identifying opportunities with new customers and providing solutions

  • Managing sales within the existing customer base

  • Maintaining customer satisfaction

  • Being compliant with legal and regulatory standards

  • Conducting territory analysis to understand the competitive landscape and trends in sales

  • Providing training sessions to customers

This role will suit you if you…

  • Have a degree in life sciences

  • Understand the private sector sales cycle and the NHS

  • Have 3-5 years' experience selling into theatres and clinics

  • Are comfortable in a surgical environment

  • Have experience in NHS Trusts

  • Can travel up to 80% of the time
