About the role:
You’ll join a team that’s at the receiving end of lots of investment, as this team looks to boost its cutting-edge in-house test facilities. You’ll be driving (almost literally!) the standards for how dyno testing contributes to overall vehicle performance.
This is a properly collaborative role where you’ll work across technical and operational groups to make sure dyno capability meets current and future engineering needs. Put simply, you’ll have a huge impact on on-track car performance and reliability.
What will your day to day look like?
You will be responsible for the development, operation, and strategic direction of test capabilities that support vehicle and performance engineering. An average day may look like:

Leading the day-to-day operation of dyno facilities

Ensuring the team provides exceptional technical support

Ensuring health and safety standards remain central to all activities

Building and maintaining relationships with tech suppliers

Managing run plans and short- to mid-term programme objectives

Delivering a long-term strategy for dyno capability
-
Aligning all plans with technical regulations and engineering requirements
-
Managing a team of engineers and technicians
-
Facilitating requirements capture to ensure new capabilities meet needs

Monitoring the projected progression of vehicle performance

Making sure test capability remains ahead of operational requirements
This role will suit you if you…
-
Have a background in F1
-
Have a degree in engineering, physics or any other related field
-
Can understand mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and facility systems
-
Have previous line management experience of mid – sized or larger teams
-
Can work in a high-performance engineering environment
-
Understand CAD and ERP systems
