Graduate Medical Sales - North East
UK North
£28,000 - £28,000
You’ve got the degree, the drive, and you know you want a career where you’re out meeting people rather than sitting behind a desk. Now you’re looking for the right opportunity to get into medical sales and start building real experience.
In this Graduate Medical Sales role, you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues across the endoscopy market, supporting customers and providing case coverage throughout your region. You’ll spend plenty of time in clinical environments, developing your product knowledge and learning how successful medical sales relationships are built.
This is a great starting point if you’re motivated, naturally competitive, and enjoy working as part of a team. You’ll get the customer exposure you’re looking for while building the skills and experience to progress towards your own Territory Manager role.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
This company is all about endoscopy. For decades they’ve been bringing the latest tech to the market, with the ultimate goal of supporting surgical procedures across the worlds – in both human and veterinary medicine. They’re also hot on making sure their customer service is top notch, working hard to keep their customers happy and their products running smoothly for years.
What’s it like working there? Well, they offer a whole host of benefits. Think access to BUPA healthcare schemes, generous annual leave, mental wellbeing support through an EAP scheme, a company car, the option to buy extra holiday, discounts on your high street shopping, and more.
What will your day to day look like?
You’ll develop the skills needed for a career in medical device sales through a structured training programme, supported by experienced colleagues. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll take on greater responsibility for customer support, product demonstrations and sales opportunities.
You will also be:
- Supporting the regional sales team with customer activities, equipment logistics and day-to-day operations.
- Building your understanding of endoscopic equipment and its use across surgical specialities.
- Delivering customer training once certified and supporting clinical product demonstrations as your training progresses.
- Gradually taking ownership of selected sales projects, from identifying leads and preparing quotations to securing orders.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and sharing feedback, sales opportunities and competitor insights.
- Attending sales meetings, exhibitions and workshops to develop your knowledge and support the team.
Successful completion of the training programme, typically around 12 months, provides progression into an associate sales role.
This role will suit you if you…
- Are keen to build a career in medical device sales and develop your technical knowledge.
- Have experience working with customers in a sales or service environment.
- Can demonstrate success within a team and experience taking responsibility or leading others.
- Communicate confidently and enjoy building relationships.
- Are organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Remain resilient under pressure and are motivated to learn and achieve results.
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Are happy with a field-based role involving substantial daily travel and time away from home.
