Graduate Account Manager - South East
UK South
You’ve got the degree. You’ve got the energy. Now you want a role that gives you a proper route into surgical sales.
As a Graduate Account Manager, you’ll be out meeting customers, learning the products, and building the kind of relationships that turn into long-term business. You’ll get real exposure to hospital environments, working with nurse call and digital healthcare solutions that support communication, workflows and patient care across secondary care settings.
If you’re personable, hungry to learn, and serious about building a career in medtech sales, this is a strong place to start. You’ll join a growing business where good people are given responsibility early and where there’s plenty of room to make your mark.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
We are a nurse call and digital solution provider that is looking for energised people to help them tackle the ever-changing demands of the healthcare environment. Their strong heritage - and hefty market share - makes them an exciting place to continue your career in the acute care setting.
As you do just that, you’ll have access to competitive salary and benefits, including performance related commission and car allowance. Opportunities for professional growth and development don't hurt, either.
What will your day to day look like?
You’ll support the growth of the South East region, building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and developing towards a future Account Manager role.
- Support territory growth plans across the South East
- Identify new opportunities across existing and prospective accounts
- Build relationships with Estates, Digital, Clinical, Procurement and Operational teams
- Research market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
- Generate and develop sales pipeline opportunities
- Support account planning, customer reviews and stakeholder mapping
- Help customers with upgrade, replacement and lifecycle planning
- Promote wider healthcare technology solutions across key accounts
- Keep CRM records, activity and pipeline updates accurate
- Work closely with sales, technical, project delivery and marketing teams
- Take part in mentoring, training and development programmes
You’ll gain hands-on experience across healthcare technology sales, account development and customer engagement, with a clear pathway towards becoming an Account Manager.
This role will suit you if you…
- Are a graduate or early-career professional looking to build a commercial career
- Have a degree in STEM, business or a related discipline
- Are ambitious, proactive and hungry to succeed
- Communicate clearly and feel confident building relationships
- Enjoy solving problems and turning insight into action
- Are organised and able to manage your time well
- Have strong analytical skills and commercial curiosity
- Can work independently while contributing to a wider team
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Have, or are working towards, a full UK driving licence
It would also be useful if you have experience in healthcare, technology, medical devices, customer-facing work, sales, business development or account management.
