Do you have an aptitude for problem-solving? Do you have experience within CT across medical or aligned industries? We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer within CT to represent a leading OEM across East Sussex and Kent.

The role 

In this role, you will be responsible for breakdowns, installations, regular PPM and reactive fault-finding across the South East region; with a focus on East Sussex and Kent. You’ll prioritise the high uptime of the CT machines and excellent customer service to customers across the portfolio maintaining excellent standards across the organisation’s customers.

You will report to the Regional Service Manager and be recognised as an ambassador for a market-leading organisation.  
 
Your day-to-day responsibilities include: 

  • To act as lead engineer on installations where appropriate 
  • Conduct help desk duties 
  • Perform remote and onsite diagnostics 
  • Carry out software reloads and software system adjustments 
  • Provide basic mentoring and support to junior field service engineers 
  • Perform planned maintenance visits with customers 
  • Reactive fault-finding for customers 

 
The requirements 
This role is suitable for individuals with a track record in CT, either from a medical or aligned industry, as well as: 

  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment 
  • Personable, a clear communicator, and passion for excellent customer service 
  • Problem solver and technically minded 
  • Comfortable working both individually and in a team environment 
  • Responds well to feedback and personal development opportunities 
  • Ability to manage workload and diary competently 
  • Proof of right to work in the UK, with a valid Driver’s License 
  • Successful Disclosure and Barring checks (CRB) at a basic level 
  • Travel is a requirement for this role which may involve overnight stays
