You've led complex software implementations before, and you know what it takes to deliver them well. From managing enterprise customers to building capable delivery teams, you understand where projects can go wrong and how to put the right structure in place. Now you want the authority to make those decisions yourself, rather than being held accountable for things you can't control.

As Enterprise Implementation Services Senior Director, you'll take ownership of the implementation strategy for EHS software, shaping how projects are delivered and building stronger internal consulting capabilities. You'll focus on improving delivery efficiency, reducing reliance on external consultants, and making sure enterprise customers receive the expertise and support they need.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who enjoys building and improving how things work. You'll have the autonomy to influence major decisions, develop the delivery function, and use your EHS and consulting experience to make a lasting impact on the business.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Our client is bringing EHS, sustainability and ESG solutions to the global renewables, chemicals, and manufacturing markets (to name a few!). Once part of their team of tech-enthusiasts, you'll be viewed as an individual with unique value to offer. Competitive insurance packages and flexible work schedules are on hand to support your growth.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll build and lead an enterprise implementation services function, shaping how complex software deployments are scoped, priced, staffed and delivered. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, you’ll develop a specialist team and take senior ownership of major customer implementations.
  • Define the service offering, delivery approach, governance and handovers between Sales, Product and Customer Success.
  • Establish consistent processes for project scoping, estimation, resourcing, change control and project completion.
  • Work with commercial and finance teams to develop realistic implementation budgets and statements of work, with clear deliverables, assumptions and exclusions.
  • Review scope and pricing for large or complex opportunities before commitments are made.
  • Ensure changes to project scope are identified, costed and approved.
  • Lead oversight of complex deployments spanning multiple modules, regions and enterprise systems, acting as the senior escalation point.
  • Guide solution design, systems integration, data migration and change management.
  • Monitor delivery against schedules, budgets, quality standards and customer expectations, addressing risks early.
  • Recruit, coach and develop implementation consultants, project managers and solution architects, with clear responsibilities and career paths.
  • Balance internal resources with specialist partners and subcontractors as demand grows.
  • Track team utilisation, project margins, delivery performance and customer satisfaction to identify improvements.
  • Build relationships with customer executives, support strategic sales opportunities and share delivery insights with Product and senior leadership.

This role will suit you if you…
  • Bring at least 12 years’ experience in consulting, systems implementation or professional services.
  • Have at least five years’ experience leading professional services delivery within environmental, health and safety (EHS) management systems or digital platforms.
  • Have built, scaled or significantly improved an implementation or professional services function.
  • Understand how to develop service offerings, delivery methodologies, pricing models, resource plans and governance.
  • Can demonstrate strong commercial judgement, including scoping, pricing and negotiating statements of work.
  • Have managed change control and taken accountability for project margins and profitability.
  • Are confident overseeing complex enterprise implementations and guiding teams through technical and delivery challenges.
  • Build credibility with customer executives, senior colleagues and delivery teams.
  • Enjoy developing people and creating a culture of accountability, quality and customer focus.
  • Are comfortable combining strategic decisions with hands-on involvement as you build a team.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • Are comfortable travelling approximately 35% of the time.
