Ready to spend less time travelling to construction sites, spending more time with family and put your industry knowledge to work in a technology role?

To be clear, this is an Enterprise Account Executive role, not a Project Manager vacancy. We’re looking for an industry professional who understands construction and wants to use that knowledge in a different capacity.

You’ll consult with customers on software that helps contractors manage change orders, costs and communication. Your focus will be on building relationships with senior decision-makers, demonstrating the value of the technology and taking ownership of deals from the first conversation through to close.

Your construction experience will help you understand customers’ challenges and show them how technology can improve the way they work. If you’re ready to move away from site-based project delivery and build your career around relationships, technology and sales, this could be your next move.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
This company is transforming how the construction industry handles one of its biggest headaches, changes to projects, costs, and timelines. Their tech brings everything together in one shared platform, replacing endless email chains with a much simpler way to keep projects moving. They've got thousands of owners, contractors and speciality contractors already onboard and using their software, so it's a great time to join them as they seek to modernise a huge industry.

As for working for them, their offering is best summed up by their belief that top talent deserves a top-tier benefits package. They've thought of everything, offering their people:
  • Regular salary reviews to keep your pay competitive
  • Customisable 401k options
  • Opportunities for equity
  • Health and dental coverage
  • Hybrid working
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Unlimited PTO for wherever you fancy going
  • An invite to their annual company retreat

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll drive new enterprise business for a construction software platform that helps contractors digitise and streamline change order management. Combining your general contractor experience with a consultative sales approach, you’ll help customers improve communication, gain visibility over project changes and reduce manual administration.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders within target enterprise accounts, building relationships and understanding their operational challenges.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial discovery through to negotiation and close.
  • Develop strategic account plans to win new business and achieve revenue goals.
  • Use your construction experience to connect customer challenges with practical software solutions.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations that show how the platform can improve change order workflows.
  • Navigate complex buying processes, engaging project teams, senior stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Work closely with marketing, product and customer success colleagues to coordinate activity and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage your pipeline and provide reliable revenue forecasts.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and changing customer needs to inform your approach.

This role will suit you if you…
  • Have at least four years’ experience working as a Project Manager for a large general contractor.
  • Are naturally motivated to be in a fast-paced, technology environment and bringing your knowledge to improve the whole construction sector.
  • Understand construction change orders and the challenges of coordinating site and back-office workflows.
  • It's desired if you have two to three years’ enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record in B2B software sales, ideally within construction or a related industry.
  • Have experience managing complex cycles and building relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
  • Take a consultative approach, asking thoughtful questions and translating customer challenges into a clear business case.
  • Combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer success.
  • Work collaboratively, build trust with customers and colleagues, and enjoy developing your knowledge.
