Training can be one of the most powerful drivers of commercial success in healthcare. The challenge is that too many organisations still treat it as a support function rather than a strategic advantage.

This role is different. You'll sit at the intersection of product, clinical, and commercial teams, shaping how training is designed, delivered, and measured on a global scale. Your work won't just influence knowledge transfer; it will help determine how effectively products are adopted, how confidently teams engage customers, and ultimately how the business performs in the market.

As Director of Product and Clinical Training, you'll lead a high-performing global team, bringing together clinical education, product expertise, and commercial priorities into a cohesive training strategy. It's a role for someone who enjoys building teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and turning complex challenges into scalable programmes that deliver real results.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to have a genuine seat at the table. You'll help shape global strategy, lead through growth and change, and play a visible role in the future of a business that is improving the lives of people living with diabetes around the world.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Our client is transforming life for people living with diabetes by creating technology that gives them more freedom, confidence and control in their everyday lives. Driven by a clear sense of purpose and a genuine connection to the people they serve, they bring together healthcare, engineering and innovation to solve meaningful problems.

There's not many teams more mission-driven than this one, either. When you join, you'll join a likeminded team who are all behind one goal, and a culture that is continuously pushing for people's success. You'll also get access to a great package that supports both your work and home life. Think things like:
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Generous bonus scheme
  • Professional development programmes
  • Healthcare coverage
  • Wellness programmes and mental health support
  • Education reimbursement
  • Lots of rewards and recognition opportunities
  • The option to buy company stock

What will your day to day look like?
The key focus of this role is to lead the localisation and delivery of product and clinical training across international markets, making sure global content is adapted in a way that is relevant, compliant, and impactful locally.
  • Lead the end-to-end localisation strategy for global commercial and clinical training content
  • Oversee regional training teams, providing direction, coaching, and performance support
  • Partner with global training, sales, marketing, medical, finance, legal, and franchise teams
  • Adapt global training programmes into market-specific roadmaps and learning solutions
  • Identify training gaps across international markets and develop supplemental content where needed
  • Measure training impact through learner feedback, proficiency metrics, business outcomes, and operational KPIs
  • Represent international market needs in global forums and influence future training roadmaps
  • Support roll-outs across local markets, securing stakeholder alignment and executive sponsorship
This is a high-impact opportunity to bridge global strategy with local execution, lead international training teams, and shape how product and clinical education supports commercial success across multiple markets.

This role will suit you if you…
  • Have strong experience in commercial training, clinical training, learning and development, instructional design, or sales enablement
  • Have led high-performing training teams across international or regional markets
  • Have experience working across functions and geographies in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Understand pharma, medtech, healthcare, or another regulated industry
  • Can translate global strategy into locally relevant training programmes
  • Are confident influencing stakeholders across sales, marketing, medical, finance, legal, and senior leadership
  • Have strong presentation, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Are comfortable leading through transformation, ambiguity, and continuous change
  • Can commute to one of our five European offices in London, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, or Utrecht, and are comfortable with hybrid working and approximately 25% travel.
