Have you built your career improving manufacturing performance within a food and beverage production environment?

Perhaps you're currently working as an Operations Engineer, Production Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Production Manager or Operations Manager. You enjoy driving productivity, improving OEE and leading operational change, but are looking for a role with greater variety, broader exposure and the opportunity to work with multiple manufacturers rather than a single site.

This could be an excellent next step.

Our client is a global manufacturing software business helping some of the world's leading manufacturers improve productivity, engagement and operational performance through connected worker technology. Their flagship customers include PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz and Coca-Cola, alongside thousands of manufacturing sites globally.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

As a Customer Success Manager, you will work directly with manufacturing leaders across the EMEA region, helping them maximise value from a market-leading manufacturing operations platform.

This is a commercial role, but it is not a sales role. There are no sales targets and no requirement for previous sales experience. Success comes from your operational expertise, manufacturing credibility and ability to build strong customer relationships.

If you have experience in production, operations or continuous improvement and would like to move into a customer-facing role while remaining close to manufacturing operations, this represents a compelling career move

What will your day to day look like?

  • Partner with food and beverage manufacturers across EMEA

  • Support customers in improving productivity, OEE, quality and workforce engagement

  • Conduct regular site visits, workshops and operational reviews

  • Coach plant leadership teams on operational excellence and frontline engagement

  • Build trusted relationships from the shop floor to senior leadership

  • Analyse operational performance data and identify improvement opportunities

  • Share manufacturing best practices across the customer community

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers achieve measurable outcomes

This role will suit you if you have…

  • Food and beverage manufacturing

  • Operations, production, engineering or continuous improvement roles

  • OEE, Lean Manufacturing, TPM or Operational Excellence initiatives

  • Driving productivity, quality and performance improvements

  • Leading cross-functional teams across Production, Maintenance and Quality

  • Using operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Influencing stakeholders from the shop floor through to plant leadership

Typical backgrounds include:

  • Operations Engineer

  • Production Engineer

  • Continuous Improvement Engineer

  • Manufacturing Engineer

  • Production Manager

  • Operations Manager

  • Manufacturing Manager

  • Continuous Improvement Manager

  • Operational Excellence Manager

  • Plant Manager

Industry experience is essential. Previous software or sales experience is not.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to leverage your manufacturing expertise on an international scale while remaining closely connected to plant operations. Rather than managing a single facility, you'll work alongside leading manufacturers across multiple countries, helping them improve performance, engagement and productivity.

For manufacturing professionals looking to move into a customer-facing position without leaving the industry behind, this is a rare opportunity to transition into a high-growth technology business without needing previous software or sales experience.
