You thrive in a clinical setting, have a deep understanding of orthopaedics, and you’re comfortable in operating rooms. Now you want to use this in a commercial role where you can make a real impact and grow your career at the same time.

If this sounds like you, this Clinical Specialist role for a leading orthopaedics company could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

Our client is a specialist orthopaedics company that’s helping surgeons do life-changing work. For over 75 years they’ve been focused on joint replacement, with products that support hip, knee, and shoulder surgery, no matter how complex the case is. They’ve got real credibility in the market, and the business is built around helping clinicians get the best possible results for their patients.

As for working there, when they say they’re people focused they mean it. They put a huge emphasis on both wellbeing and growth, giving their people access to health and wellness support, tailored training and development, and a supportive environment designed for people to thrive.

What will your day to day look like?

This is the perfect role for someone with great clinical know-how – you’ll spend lots of time in cases, supporting the sales team with their sales processes and customers with the product portfolio. An average week might include:

  • Preparing loan kits for customers for use in surgeries
  • Providing clinical support to theatre staff and surgeons in cases
  • Demonstrating products and educating customers on best-use
  • Coordinating exchanges and replacements of products
  • Building strong relationships with clinical stakeholders
  • Acting as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback
  • Supporting the Territory Manager with all sales activities

This role will suit you if you…

  • Are degree educated in life sciences/sports science/business or similar
  • Or have worked as an ODP, physio or RGN
  • Understand orthopaedic medical devices and human anatomy
  • Are motivated and driven by targets
  • Can travel regularly across your territory
