If you're a chassis performance engineer, there's usually one thing that gets you out of bed in the morning: finding lap time.

Whether that's through setup development, vehicle dynamics analysis, track testing, or understanding exactly what the car needs to go faster, you're motivated by performance. Not reports, not process, not meetings. Performance.

This team has already proven they can compete at the sharp end of Formula E, but they're not interested in looking backwards. They're investing in the next phase of growth and need someone who wants to challenge assumptions, contribute ideas, and play a meaningful role in making the car faster.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, have genuine input into performance decisions, and see the impact of your work where it matters most: on track. For someone who wants more influence, more responsibility, and the chance to push themselves in a highly competitive environment, this is a role that offers exactly that.

What will your day to day look like?
This position is hyper-focused on performance optimisation. You will play a pivotal part in defining and optimising the car setup at each track test. Your day-to-day could include:
•    Maintaining setup databases and performance benchmarks across testing sessions
•    Contributing to the evolution of the suspension options specification
•    Defining test items prior to sessions, including key objectives and success criteria
•    Working closely with Performance Software Engineers to ensure coherent interaction between chassis settings and control software
•    Establishing robust test methodologies to isolate and quantify the impact of chassis parameters on performance

This role will suit you if you…
•    Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
•    Can demonstrate an understanding of software-chassis interaction and previous experience of interdisciplinary collaboration
•    Have 3+ years of experience in vehicle performance engineering within a high performance automotive or engineering environment
•    Are strong in your communication style, being able to communicate with a number of seniority levels
•    Have a good knowledge of vehicle dynamics and performance optimisation
