Business Manager - Essex, Cambridgeshire and East Anglia

As Business Manager, you’ll lead growth across your area, build trusted relationships with renal care teams, and make sure customers receive excellent support throughout the patient journey. You’ll combine consultative selling with strong case coverage, keeping a close eye on KPIs while working with colleagues across the business to deliver the right outcomes.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll take ownership of sales growth across your territory, building relationships with healthcare professionals and helping more patients access specialist consumable products across renal and oncology pathways.
- Grow sales and increase market share across your assigned portfolio
- Cover a territory across Essex, Cambridgeshire and East Anglia, balancing customer visits, account growth and field-based activity
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across community and acute settings
- Identify new business opportunities, including new account entry and growth within existing accounts
- Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned to wider business goals
- Support patient adoption through a referral-based sales model
- Run regular business reviews to track performance, progress and follow-up actions
- Use sales data and customer insight to shape activity and improve results
- Maintain a strong understanding of the NHS landscape, including Integrated Care Systems and local priorities
- Work closely with internal teams and sales leadership to deliver against strategy
- Keep CRM records, account information and activity updates accurate and up to date
- Balance field-based customer engagement with administrative tasks and internal meetings
You’ll play an important role in growing the territory, strengthening customer relationships and helping healthcare teams support more patients through effective referral pathways.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have experience selling consumable products into the medical or healthcare sector
- Have a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Understand the NHS structure, stakeholder landscape and local healthcare priorities
- Can build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers
- Are confident developing territory and account plans using data and insight
- Communicate clearly and can influence, present and negotiate effectively
- Are organised and comfortable managing a busy field-based role
- Can work independently and take ownership of your territory
- Have experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, and Microsoft Office
- Hold a full UK driving licence
It would also be useful if you have experience in renal dialysis, IV oncology, broader medical devices, referral-based sales or patient pathway-led commercial roles.
