Thrive on building great relationships with surgeons in medical devices? Love hitting targets and seeing the impact of your work? If you said yes to both questions, this Business Development Manager role could be the perfect role for you. You will be responsible for bringing an established CMF product range back to the market across the North of the UK.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?

The treatment around upper extremities can be crucial towards patient recovery; our client’s range of medical devices area are some of the best in the industry. As a medium-sized orthopaedics organisation, their impressive products are supporting patients in over 50 countries worldwide, with one of their latest innovations being an exciting solution for the correction of maxillofacial deformities through precise osteosynthesis.

When it comes to working for them? They’re all about making sure their employees can grow and thrive both in and out of work. Their benefits package covers the big stuff – like funded L&D, extended parental leave, and plenty of opportunities to earn a bonus – to the nice-to-have extras (think things like discounts on your high street shopping, subsidised gyms, and more).

Plus, they boast a load of employees with over a decade with them – testament to how well they look after their people and how well they’d look after you, too.

What will your day to day look like?

Your focus will be on relaunching our clients’ legacy product to market – their CMF portfolio. This is a great opportunity to lead in bringing a respected product back to the market. Other key responsibilities will:
  • Working alongside Maxfac surgeons to promote the products
  • Driving brand awareness and being the face of the business in your region
  • Building new accounts in your region through cold calling and utilising your existing network
  • Supporting regulatory processes involved in the sales cycle
  • Managing any customer service issues with the utmost care
  • Sharing relevant clinical evidence to promote sales growth
This role will suit you if you…
  • Have a degree in Medical Devices or other related discipline
  • Have experience in CMF or Maxfac (preferred), or have orthopaedic experience (essential)
  • Can showcase an ability to be autonomous almost instantly, either due to attitude or an existing network of contacts in the space
  • Bring to work a hunter mentality, but still are happy to get your hands dirty with territory management on a day-to-day basis
  • Can consistently travel around your territory to meet customers on-site
