Business Development Manager - M62 Corridor
UK North
You enjoy the chase. Building relationships, opening doors, and growing business in clinical environments where credibility matters. You’ve already built strong surgical sales experience, ideally in cardiology or vascular intervention, and you’re confident having conversations with clinicians where outcomes and trust come first.
What matters now is ownership. The chance to drive new business growth with a clinically respected product portfolio, build momentum in your region, and be backed by technology that genuinely improves patient outcomes. You want clear targets, strong clinical credibility behind you, and the freedom to make an impact rather than feel constrained by poor support or unrealistic expectations.
In this Business Development Manager role, you’ll focus on driving growth for a specialist vascular intervention business, helping physicians improve outcomes through proven technologies and deep clinical expertise. You’ll take ownership of growing the territory, building new relationships, and delivering measurable commercial impact in a role that rewards energy, resilience, and a genuine hunter mentality.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Our client develops life-changing medical technology that helps doctors treat heart and blood vessel conditions, giving millions of people access to better care and better outcomes. If you want to contribute to a better world through cutting-edge medical technology that saves lives, then this could be the perfect place for you.
You get out what you put in too. Culturally, they embrace you for who you are, your unique perspective, and what you bring to the table, empowering you to do your best work and make an impact. You'll be recognised for your contributions, and your successes - big and small - celebrated. You'll also get access to a solid benefits package that includes a competitive bonus scheme, healthcare coverage, savings plans, generous PTO, and more.
What will your day to day look like?
You’ll take ownership of growing a specialist vascular portfolio across cardiology and endovascular accounts, building adoption, driving new business, and developing strong clinical relationships across your region.
As well as:
• Building and growing relationships with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, radiologists, procurement teams, and wider hospital stakeholders
• Driving market adoption through product training, case support, presentations, and clinical education
• Identifying new opportunities for growth across cardiology and endovascular accounts within your territory
• Working closely with clinical, marketing, and regulatory teams to strengthen market positioning and customer engagement
• Supporting KOL engagement, clinical studies, and evidence generation to increase product utilisation
• Leading pricing discussions, tenders, and commercial conversations to secure new business and expand accounts
As the business continues to grow, there will be real opportunity to develop your career within a business with an exciting product pipeline and long-term growth plans.
This role will suit you if you…
• Have 5+ years’ experience in medical device sales, ideally within interventional cardiology, vascular, or endovascular products
• Understand hospital sales cycles, NHS procurement, tenders, and reimbursement pathways
• Are confident building relationships with clinicians, KOLs, procurement teams, and decision-makers
• Have strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Enjoy autonomy and are motivated by growing a territory and winning new business
• Are commercially driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
• Hold a degree in a scientific, engineering, business, or related discipline and are happy travelling across the UK
