You’re comfortable in trauma and orthopaedics. Supporting cases, building trust with surgeons, and making sure the right products are in the right place when they matter most. You understand fracture fixation, enjoy being in clinical environments, and know that strong territory growth comes from relationships as much as performance.

What matters now is ownership and progression. A territory with real opportunity, products clinicians trust, and the chance to grow into something bigger over time, whether that’s leadership or strategic accounts. You want to spend more time making an impact in the field and less time getting buried in process.

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of an important region within a global specialist in fracture fixation and trauma devices, supporting excellent case coverage while driving sales growth and clinical relationships. Joining is a chance to step into an established territory, build momentum quickly, and keep progressing your career in orthopaedics.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Quality of life for patients is at the very heart of our everything our client does. They’re a surgical fixation and joint replacement manufacturer who work across the globe to equip surgeons with the very best in orthopaedic products and instruments. They’re in a real period of expansion right now too, so it’s a great time to join them.

When it comes to working for them? They’re all about making sure their employees can grow and thrive both in and out of work. Their benefits package covers the big stuff – like funded L&D, extended parental leave, and plenty of opportunities to earn a bonus – to the nice-to-have extras (think things like discounts on your high street shopping, subsidised gyms, and more).

Plus, they boast a load of employees with over a decade with them – testament to how well they look after their people and how well they’d look after you, too.

What will your day to day look like?
The key focus of this role is to grow sales across Yorkshire and the North East, building strong relationships across orthopaedic accounts and supporting the adoption of fracture fixation products.

You will also be:
•    Creating and developing territory account plans in line with the national sales strategy
•    Managing territory activity to achieve sales targets within agreed budgets
•    Building relationships with surgeons, key opinion leaders, OR teams, procurement, and wider hospital stakeholders
•    Gathering and sharing competitor intelligence to support territory growth
•    Organising and delivering educational workshops within accounts
•    Attending local, national, and occasional international courses, congresses, and industry events
•    Maintaining a strong working knowledge of internal compliance standards and relevant industry codes of conduct
•    Using account data to identify opportunities, measure return on investment, and prioritise activity

This is a strong opportunity to join a growing international medical device business, develop your expertise in orthopaedics, and build a successful long-term sales career in a high-quality, clinically focused market.

This role will suit you if you…
•    Have experience in medical device sales, ideally within orthopaedics or fracture fixation
•    Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets
•    Understand the NHS, private healthcare, and the wider orthopaedic market
•    Can build strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
•    Are confident presenting to individuals and groups
•    Have strong commercial awareness and can analyse account data with ROI in mind
•    Are positive, self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing your own territory
•    Have a good level of IT literacy
