You are looking for an entry-level position that puts you in direct contact with industrial customers, helping to ensure a smooth transition of a top-class portfolio of technology. You want to work for a company that’s improving the efficiency of industrial companies across the FMCG industry. This Application Engineer role is a perfect first step into this industry and into a company where development is always on the cards.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
This is a company that partners with their industrial partners to improve overall efficiency of their processes. Time is money, so an increasingly efficient production process can save a company thousands over time; our client’s software solutions are up there with the best in the industry to make this efficiency possible. With a major focus on food & beverage labelling, this is an industry that is more important than ever.

If working as part of a talented team that constantly pushes boundaries for excellence is appealing to you, this working environment will be right up your street.

What will your day to day look like?
This role places you as a vital link between customers and the technology, ensuring rollout is effective and the customer is best pleased. Your key responsibilities could include:
•    Collaborating with customers in your region to assess the viability of implementing technology in the portfolio
•    Supporting installation projects and feasibility studies with key customers, including travelling to customer sites when needed
•    Acting as a technical liaison, taking on customer feedback and sharing with the necessary internal team to drive future improvements
•    Exploring new opportunities in the market for the technology based on research and literature
•    Contributing to lab-based trials, helping to validate new use case scenarios
This is an entry-level position, but there is plenty of room for growth as you develop further in the role.

This role will suit you if you…
•    Have a degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science field
•    Have demonstrable hands-on experience from university or another entry-level role within a laboratory or engineering setting
•    Are an excellent communicator, being able to translate technical concepts to a range of audiences
•    Are a proactive and curious mind, with a passion for solving complex problems and constantly learning about new technologies
•    Have experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (preferred)
