The sale isn't the finish line. It's where the real relationship begins.

As After Sales Manager, you'll work with pharmaceutical manufacturers to make sure they continue to get the very best from their packaging machinery long after it's been installed. From identifying opportunities to improve performance through to supporting upgrades, expansions, and ongoing customer needs, you'll become a trusted partner rather than just another supplier.

This role suits someone who enjoys building lasting relationships and taking ownership of the customer journey. You'll work closely with customers across Germany, helping them maximise the value of their investment while shaping an after-sales experience that keeps them coming back. If you prefer creating long-term partnerships over chasing one-off sales, you'll feel right at home here.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Our client designs and produces a wide range of packaging machines and lines for the pharmaceutical industry, designed to promptly respond to any kind of request, from standard to extraordinary.

When you join them you’ll join a team that’s all about its people. You’ll access a whole range of benefits, from the standard things you’d expect (a car allowance, solid medical coverage, 401k) to things like funded, ongoing professional development and a meritocratic approach to career progression. It’s a great place to make an impact and build something for the future.

What will your day to day look like?
You’ll manage the full aftersales journey, making sure customers receive the right parts, service support, and updates to keep their machinery running smoothly.

  • Handle customer enquiries for spare parts, format parts, upgrades, and revamping work
  • Prepare accurate quotations for parts and service engineer interventions
  • Follow up on open offers and support customers through the ordering process
  • Process orders and coordinate the receipt, handling, and shipment of spare parts
  • Keep customers informed on availability, delivery times, and service schedules
  • Work closely with Service, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, shipments, and customer requests
  • Prepare invoices for spare parts and engineer interventions
  • Build long-term relationships through responsive and reliable support
  • Identify further opportunities for servicing, upgrades, and machinery improvements

You’ll have the chance to build specialist knowledge of complex packaging machinery, strengthen key customer relationships, and grow your career within an established international business.

This role will suit you if you…
  • Have experience selling or supporting complex packaging machinery
  • Have worked with pharmaceutical or life sciences customers
  • Speak and write fluent German and English
  • Can communicate confidently with technical and commercial contacts
  • Are organised and comfortable managing multiple enquiries and orders
  • Have strong attention to detail when preparing quotations and invoices
  • Can coordinate effectively across service, logistics, engineering, and finance teams
  • Take ownership of customer requests and follow them through to completion
  • Are proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently
