You’re at your best when you’re out talking to people. Finding opportunities, building relationships, and understanding the kind of problems customers are actually trying to solve. You’ve got solid sales experience behind you and you’re ready for a role where new business is a big part of the picture, but not the whole story.

This role gives you a good mix. Around 70% existing business farming and 30% new business in existing accounts, with plenty of scope to uncover opportunities across geospatial, asset, and engineering markets. You’ll be selling technology that solves real-world problems, backed by a team that values people who are proactive, personable, and easy to work with.

You’ll have room to build your own patch, grow existing relationships, and turn good conversations into long-term customers. With progression, car allowance, and bonus potential that rewards strong performance, this is a role for someone who wants ownership, variety, and the chance to make a visible impact.

Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Our client builds mapping and location tech that's all about helping organisations to understand the world around them. Whether it's planning cities, protecting the environment, or managing infrastructure projects, the technology helps companies to make better, more informed decisions.

When you join the team you'll join somewhere that's always striving to be a great place to work. They'll support you to grow, think big, and shape your career in the way you want to.

What will your day to day look like?
The key focus of this role is to grow the airports and ports vertical by winning new owner-operator customers and developing existing accounts into larger, long-term partnerships, as well as:
  • Prospecting into airports, ports, and wider transport infrastructure organisations to create new opportunities
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline across new-logo and existing customer accounts
  • Have experience selling B2B software to the mass transit, airport, ports or aligned markets
  • Engaging a wide range of stakeholders across asset management, engineering, digital transformation, infrastructure, and operations
  • Leading opportunities from initial conversation through discovery, solution development, negotiation, and close
  • Developing smaller tactical engagements into broader enterprise-wide relationships over time
  • Managing a portfolio split of approximately 70% new business and 30% existing account growth
  • Working directly with owner-operators rather than contractors or consultants
You’ll join a supportive, high-performing team and be given existing accounts to help you build market knowledge, understand the technology, and develop confidence before taking full ownership of the vertical.

This role will suit you if you…
  • Have experience selling enterprise software, technology solutions, or complex B2B services
  • Have worked within airports, ports, transport infrastructure, asset management, or a related market
  • Can build credibility with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, digital, and commercial teams
  • Have a strong track record of prospecting, building pipeline, and winning new business
  • Are comfortable managing longer-term account growth as well as closing new logos
  • Can understand complex customer challenges and translate them into clear commercial value
  • Bring GIS, geospatial, asset management, or engineering technology knowledge, although this is not essential
  • Are confident working remotely and travelling regularly to meet customers
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, low-pressure culture where long-term relationships matter more than short-term commission
