What will your day to day look like? 

You’ll play a crucial part in bridging the gap between SaaS tech and the renewable energy market in this Account Director role. This role is all about selling SaaS software and services into the financial services sector, with a major focus on private equity clients. Success in this role looks like hitting your quotas and growing the accounts in your area.

An average week might consist of:
 
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 
  • Meeting with customers to identify their business challenges 
  • Selling software according to specific customer needs 
  • Educating clients on best use of the tech  
  • Developing account plans to grow existing accounts 
  • Providing regular forecasting 
  • Tracking and analysing performance 
  • Collaborating with other teams to give customers tailored solutions 
  • Attending regional industry events and conferences 

You’ll be owning sales cycles from start to finish in this role, so this is a great opportunity to start a role where you can really see the impact of the work you’re doing as you shape the growth of the business.  


This role will suit you if you… 
 
  • Are a natural ‘hunter’ sales person with a history of exceeding targets 
  • Have 5+ years’ experience selling SaaS into financial and/or energy space 
  • Know how to grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts 
  • Understand the private equity sector 
  • Have experience navigating complex sales cycles 
  • Love selling in a consultative way 
  • Can build strong, long-lasting commercial relationships 

You’ll also need to be comfortable with travelling between 25% and 40% of your time in this role.
