Account Director - Midstream
North America
$90,000 - $25,000
You know oil and gas accounts don’t grow by accident. They take credibility, consistency, and the ability to work across complex stakeholder groups. You’ve built that experience in SaaS already, managing retention while expanding strategic accounts in environments where relationships really matter.
What’s important to you now is ownership and influence. The chance to work closely with executive-level customers, shape account strategy properly, and get rewarded for delivering on your targets. You want strong earning potential and the backing of a team that’s aligned around growth rather than working in silos.
This Account Director role gives you that. You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of key oil and gas customers in a data analytics SaaS business. And with generous bonus potential, leadership training, and standout parental leave and PTO, it’s a role built for someone who wants visibility, impact, and a workplace that properly supports them, too.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you?
Trusted by companies around the world, this global leader in the data analytics space is focused on intelligent software that helps to analyse, manage, and optimise workflows and processes. Their aim is to make decision making quicker and more effective. They’re in a real growth phase right now, focusing specifically on the power and renewables sectors.
With ‘Great Place to Work’ and ‘Top Work Places’ accolades under their belt in the past few years, they’re a great choice to grow your career. They offer their people a range of benefits, including:
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Mental health support via an EAP
- Access to a lifestyle and wellbeing programme
- The option to work remotely (hybrid)
- In-house leadership training
- Retirement savings plans
- Generous parental leave and PTO
- Volunteering days
What will your day to day look like?
This role covers both retention and growth within accounts, where you’ll be responsible for the full sales lifecycle. An average week might include:
- Identifying, engaging with and pursuing new leads
- Conducting online and in-person product demos
- Digging into customer requirements to deliver tailored proposals
- Building strong relationships with account stakeholders
- Developing and managing a consistent pipeline of work
Success in this role looks like delivering on and exceeding your territory sales quotas. You’ll report into a Director of Sales.
This role will suit you if you…
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales
- Have worked in the oil and gas industry for over 3 years
- Are great at retention and growth within customer accounts
- Would describe yourself as a true hunter salesperson
- Know how to accurately forecast on a regular basis
- Love a consultative, value-based sales process
