With less than three working weeks left before Christmas (sorry for the reminder!), our Smart Industry team are as busy as ever wrapping for the year.
We've been catching up with members of the team to get the inside scoop on what 2023's recruitment scene has been like, and have been sharing their thoughts weekly.
This week, we spoke to Associate Director, Will. From growing his team to securing new clients across the globe, 2023 has been a big one for him! Here's what he had to say: 

What's been your highlight of 2023?

"My highlight has been watching my team grow, seeing us win new accounts and placing candidates, both with those organisations and with longstanding clients. And getting promoted to Associate Director of course!"

Will's top tip to secure a tip top candidate:

"Communicate is key - make sure you are talking internally (to your boss, finance, HR etc.) about how to process is going, and also to us and the candidate so everyone is on the same page. Don’t miss out on great candidates due to sloppy processes - TALK!"

What are you excited for in 2024?

"Stability - after the highs and lows of the economy over the past couple of years, what I am hearing is clearer plans for commercial recruitment. Clients are realising that internal talent teams and agencies can work in harmony and jobs are filled quicker when this happens."
