Ryan's attending UKIO 2024!
UKIO is just a few weeks away, so we wanted to hear from our Head of Medical Technology Ryan Luckman about this year's event.
From overall expectations to the latest tech he is most excited to check out, let's hear what Ryan has to say…
Which companies are you most excited to speak to at the event?
We're delivering a number of complex projects with Siemens, MIS, Canon and Probo - so naturally we're looking forward to connecting with our hiring leaders here.
What new, emerging tech do you expect to be on show?
FMC continue to expand our offering into the teleradiology space, so whilst it's not new tech, we know the landscape is changing here so I am intrigued to understand how the businesses in this space are adapting.
What are your overall expectations for the event?
It's a tight knit community and a room of brilliant minds - so my expectations are that the market can nail their commitment to putting people first in all senses. I am hopeful we will see a market open to change, particularly in the way they attract, retain, and develop talent to deliver on this patient first mission.
What are you most looking forward to at UKIO?
We placed 28 people into new roles in the last twelve months, so primarily I am looking forward to seeing how they have landed and progressed. Outside of this, I want to get a feel for how seriously the space is taking the war on talent and how brave (or not) they plan to be in order to access the new skills required to compete.
