Abi's weekly round up

Our round up series has focused on our recruiters and account managers so far, but there are many other people that help keep FMC ticking…

We wanted to shine a spotlight on some of the business services teams within FMC that are crucial to the way we run. First up on our business services round up is Abi who is one of the amazing members of our marketing team!

What made you want to work for FMC?
"I remember reading the job advert for the Marketing Administrator role and it was so refreshing. Not robotic and boring like the rest of the ads that were floating around Indeed and Reed at the time. There was a real emphasis on culture, values, and progression."

What does a typical day at FMC look like to you?
"I am responsible for supporting our recruiters and account managers in finding candidates for their newest roles - from writing job adverts to making visual banners for LinkedIn, utilising job boards, creating and running recruitment and business development campaigns, troubleshooting, running analyses and suggesting improvements to our campaign workflows and the technology/software we use in the team and across the business"

What is the most important lesson you've learned from working within this team?
"We are a collaborative team in Marketing, and we all bring such a wide variety of skills to the table. I have learnt that it is absolutely okay to not be the BEST at everything. We use our strengths and specialities to our advantage to ensure the business gets the most value out of us."

What's the best thing about working at FMC?
"There is a genuine emphasis on skill uplift and professional development. From day one, I had absolute clarity on what my job role was but also what I could strive to achieve. Three promotions later, I have just started a Level six award in Email Marketing Strategy with IDM."
