We’re attending Hannover Messe 2022!

After a quiet few years, FMC Smart Industry is finally back to attending events – we’re looking forward to heading to Germany for Hannover Messe 2022!

Hannover Messe is, without a doubt, one of the most important dates in the calendar for those working in digital transformation and Industry 4.0. As one of the world’s largest trade fairs it looks to bring together all the key names in the market under one roof, making it the epicentre for technological innovation.

After a few years of being unable to attend events, FMC Smart Industry are heading to Hannover Messe between Monday 30th May and Wednesday 1st June. I’ll be there with my colleagues Justin Pritchard and Will Adamthwaite, and we’ll be available to discuss insight on salaries and benefits, motivators to move for candidates operating in the space, and how companies can attract and retain top talent in the face of an extremely competitive recruitment landscape.

Why are we attending?

With a typical 6,500 exhibitors and 250,000 attendees, Hannover Messe provides a fantastic opportunity to discover the latest digital transformation solutions, meet with other attendees and view the latest developments in the market. Technology is moving at lightning speed, and it’ll be fascinating to see the latest technologies all in one place.

The event will be key to us understanding the latest developments in the industry and where there will be key areas of growth for the coming year. We of course, are also excited to meet with our clients to understand how they are pushing boundaries in the market as well.

So, what tech are we looking forward to seeing?

A leading data platform for manufacturing will be showcased by Sight Machine – their Data Foundation for operations and analysis transformsOT data into useful information in real time.

The global industrial software leader, AVEVA, will be exhibiting its pioneering solutions that join Cloud, IIoT, AI and virtual reality to offer efficiency and sustainability.

GE Digital will be presenting their MES, Data Management and APM solutions that are driving the future of Digital Energy.

Senseye will exhibit their Predictive Maintenance software, a leading AI solution that drives machine reliability.

The event will also welcome Honeywell, who are set to promote their software solutions that are propelling safety and productivity across the aerospace, building technologies, PMT and SPS sectors.

Litmus are set to showcase their EDGE Data Platform, a pioneering technology that combines device connectivity, data intelligence and data integration into one Industry 4.0 solution.

AWS will be promoting its broadly adopted cloud platform that is used to improve cost and agility from large enterprises to fast-growing start-ups.

The global industrial SaaS company Cognite will bring their Industrial DataOps platform, which allows industrial data and domain users to collaborate and develop industrial AI solutions.

Element will also be welcomed with their Element Unify data platform, which integrates IT and OT data and enables teams to unlock the value of their data.

And that’s only a handful of the technology we’re looking forward to seeing – I’m sure we’ll be kept busy with the thousands of exhibitors in attendance and what they have to share!
