Want to build and lead a team into the future of ConTech utilising AI and IOT solutions? Operated in a Pre Series-B business and are comfortable scaling out the GTM motions in a brand new region? Our AI-focused client are looking for a VP Sales to join their team in KSA and grow their sales function from the ground up.

  
A bit about the company and what they can offer you 

From their humble beginnings in the US operations space, our client has since spread to the UAE and KSA, doing important work for the sustainability of fleet operations. 

Their AI powered analytics platform is currently automating machinery for over 300 companies worldwide. Not only that, but they’re transforming equipment into smart machines. And they already have several awards under their belt – as well as a series A funding round worth $30 million, hot off the press.

  
What you’ll be doing 

Reporting directly to the CEO, as VP Sales you’ll be tasked with building and leading the sales team, as well as scaling out their go-to-market plans in a brand new region. Ultimately, your goal is to drive revenue growth and expansion across the region.

You’ll use your strategic thinking skills to build our client’s revenue engine. They’re a fast-growing start-up so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to use your hands-on experience and strategic mindset to really grow the sales function.

Your day to day might look a little like this:
  • Developing elements of the GTM strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to break into new regions
  • Developing sales processes and KPIs
  • Managing the sales team
  • Providing updates to the board on forecasting, feedback and trends
  • Collaborating with product and marketing teams
  • Generating referrals from customers
  • Coaching the team to top performance

A bit about you

The main thing our client is after is an experienced sales manager (with at least 5 years in a senior role) who’s based in Riyadh and happy to travel across the Middle East and internationally on occasion.  Experience selling into the construction, logistics or oil and gas industries would stand you in good stead for this role.

Some of the other things they’re looking for include:
  • Understanding of IoT or industrial tech
  • Experience with SaaS sales
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience successfully managing a team
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and keeping them up to date
  • Good understanding of sales metrics
  • Able to identify weaknesses and improve them
