What you’ll be doing
As VP of Sales, you'll drive strategic growth, scale revenue, and expand market share for a rapidly growing SaaS company. You'll lead a high-performing sales team, execute data-driven strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to align with company goals.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this: 

  • Ensure the sales team achieves growth goals in profit, market penetration, and market share 
  • Maintain Cost of Sale and Long-Term Value 
  • Provide leadership and counsel to the CRO on aligning objectives with the company’s values and goals
  • Design, implement, and manage sales strategies and processes, ensuring quality and consistency 
  • Ensure planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts align with company goals and another department 
  • Allocate territories, product, and sales goals to meet customer retention and financial objectives 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to improve sales processes and launch new programs effectively 
  • Prioritize investments in sales technologies to enhance productivity and align with the sales strategy 
  • Define performance metrics and manage programs for sales organization success, including reporting, training, and incentives 

A bit about you 
Ideally, you’ll be based in Colorado, US.

You’ll have at least 10 years of customer-facing experience in a SaaS or B2B environment with 5 of these involving managing a sales team.

A few other key skills our client is looking for: 

  • At least two years of sales-focused account management experience 
  • Results-driven as well as coachable
  • Four or more years of experience in SaaS for Energy Market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Proven track record in developing a go-to-market strategy
  • Successful history of selling opportunities worth $300K to C-level executives 
  • Experience tracking and adjusting sales reps’ performance to meet expectations 
  • Strong history of managing key customer relationships and closing strategic deals 
  • Ability to structure territories based on geography, vertical, or use case 
  • Demonstrated expertise in all areas of sales leadership
