What you’ll be doing
This role is all about developing and executing sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets across the South, UK. So, if you know how to develop business opportunities and penetrate the healthcare market, this is the role for you!
Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
- Sales strategy development to achieve territory sales targets
- Building strong relationships across the industry
- Developing excellent product knowledge
- Preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Gathering market research and emerging trends
- Work closely with management, sales and customer service teams
- Track sales performance metrics against goals and objectives
A bit about you
You’ll hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with extensive travel across the South and South East of England.
You’ll have 3-5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in ophthalmology or a related medical field with demonstrated success in selling products such as IOLs, surgical instruments and consumables.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
- Complex, high-value sales cycles come as second nature to you
- An in-depth understanding of ophthalmic devices
- Can convey technical information clearly and persuasively
- Comfortable delivering in-person and virtual product demonstrations
- Experience negotiating contracts and closing sales
- An understanding of MHRA regulations and best practice
