What you’ll be doing 
In short; you’ll increase sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year on year, whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share. You will continue the trend of rapid growth in the company, through the key therapeutic areas of Surgery.  

Your day to day might look a little like this:
  • Provide procedural and product expertise to targeted customers and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Develop business by creation of educational programs to increase clinician’s safe and effective use of consumables, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales Training 
  • Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets
  • Actively gather market intelligence on our own and competitor portfolio/ activities 
  • Act as the company representative in the surgical field for internal and external customers
  • Maintain and develop database of customers.
  • Attend exhibitions and clinical meetings

A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the Midlands/ East Anglia, UK and are willing to travel frequently within the territory.

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience in a medical sales management position.

A few other key skills our client is looking for:
  • Full UK Driver’s license 
  • Can create a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility to others
  • Results driven, prioritising objectives and scheduling work to make best use of time and resources
  • Highly developed negotiator and influencer with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills 
  • Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently while maintaining commitment despite opposition 
  • Ability to solicit orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned products
  • Can cope effectively with pressure and setbacks and maintain commitment despite opposition
