The role
As a Strategic Business Consultant, you’ll work closely with key Oil & Gas and energy operators across Europe to develop executive business plans. Through providing niche industry insights and identifying opportunities to upsell, you’ll position the software portfolio to address their unique business challenges and maximise their operational efficiency. You will bring strategic guidance, technical expertise and a sense of leadership to your client management.

The requirements
You’ll have 5+ years as a consultant within a reputable firm, with a demonstrable track record of commercial (B2B) engagements, as well as:
- Degree educated in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (Master’s is desirable)
- Strong experience with operators and simulation software vendors within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Renewables, Mining and Chemicals industries
- Familiar with industry standards and regulations
- Exceptional strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven problem management skills with a demonstrable ability to lead complex consulting projects
- Blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen
- Able to form meaningful relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Posses a high sense of discretion and professionalism
- Meticulous with an ability to grow something from scratch
- Fast learner who relishes a technical challenge
